Yesterday when I got home, and started to do the daily blog reading I noticed something. A group of the blogs were quiet while others posted some simple thing to get through the weekend. Being this is my first year as a blogger I was naive to the effects of the National. In my little part of the world I believed life went on without interruption. This couldn't be farther from the truth as Night Owl posted on his blog. Readership takes a serious dive, and throws everything off. Not wanting to keep things running normal as this isn't a normal weekend. I thought why not just save today's business card post, and run with it again next weekend. Like a few others I am phoning it in...
Now all that is left will be to see what happens starting on Monday when everyone begins sharing the results of their trip. Do all these posts takeover, and everything else becomes irreverent? If you didn't go to the National do you continue phoning it in or do things go back to the way they were before? It will be an interesting trip through the blogging world this week. Any advice you have I'd love to hear.
The weather has been absolutely gorgeous in my part of the country as well. I find it so much easier to post when I'm escaping 90 degree heat or rain.
